Welcome to the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (AECM)

Whether you are a student, fellow researcher, industry partner, or simply curious about our field, we are delighted to have you explore our department.

Although our current name reflects the recent merger of two distinguished departments, our legacy reaches back to the 1970s. Today, AECM is home to 18 dedicated faculty members whose expertise spans diverse areas of architectural engineering and construction management, all working together to advance the built environment.

We proudly offer a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, six graduate programs, and a PhD program that address the wide spectrum of knowledge and skills needed in our profession. Over the decades, we have graduated thousands of students, and we are currently educating around 300 undergraduate and graduate students who will shape the future of our industry.

With the combined efforts of our faculty, researchers, and students, AECM is uniquely positioned to contribute to the rapid growth and ambitious transformation we are witnessing in Saudi Arabia. More importantly, we strive to generate innovative ideas and solutions that make a lasting impact — both intellectually and practically — on a global scale.
