Our Mission

AECM is dedicated to advancing excellence in education, research, and community engagement. In pursuit of this mission, the department focuses on three key areas:

• To graduate highly skilled and innovative leaders who embrace continuous learning, work collaboratively and ethically with others, and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s national development and the global construction industry.
• To conduct impactful and practical research that addresses real-world challenges, including extreme climate conditions, energy efficiency, sustainability, digital transformation, and advanced management practices, advancing knowledge, technology, and decision-making in the built environment.
• To raise public awareness of architectural engineering and promote knowledge that contributes to sustainable, responsible, and innovative practices in the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
