The Architectural Engineering Department (ARE) invites applications for faculty positions (Ph.D. holders: Assistant/Associate/Professor) with ample quality teaching, excellent research record and preferably with industrial experience in the following areas:
- Building Mechanical/Indoor Environmental Systems: Design state-of-the-art instrumentation and digital control of building systems (e.g. HVAC, lighting and indoor air quality, IoT, smart sensing and control, software tools, dynamic and interactive building facades, etc.).
- Smart and Sustainable Buildings: Sustainable design of smart/intelligent buildings, digital technologies, AI applications, energy-efficient building systems, high performance buildings, assessment and rating systems, LEED, and BREEAM
- Construction Engineering – Construction/Facility Management: Project planning and scheduling, innovative construction methods, equipment, automated construction management, robotics, digital technologies, software tools, and BIM in construction as well as facility management, technology-based management practices, LEAN project management
