# A comprehensive exam will be administered at the end of the third semester / term 1 of year 2.

* Compulsory electives to be decided by the thesis advisor and the department’s Graduate Committee from among the 12 pre-selected courses.

** Any course from other colleges and their programs. To be decided by the department’s Graduate Committee, the Department Chairman, and the Dean of Graduate Studies.

*** AECM 701 and 702 will not be available to earn credits for students directly joining the PhD program and without a master’s degree.
