      Biography

      Dr. Osama Mohsen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Management at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). His research focuses on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced data analytics to improve building performance, construction processes, and sustainability outcomes across the built environment.

      In addition to his research, Dr. Mohsen teaches courses that explore the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensor technologies into buildings and infrastructure. His instruction emphasizes real-time monitoring, intelligent control, and data-driven decision-making to support next-generation building systems. He has a strong interest in smart buildings, building automation, and digital transformation in the construction industry. His work investigates how innovative information technologies can enhance construction project delivery, improve operational efficiency, and support optimized building operations.

      Dr. Mohsen actively collaborates across disciplines, contributes to digital engineering initiatives, and participates in efforts to modernize construction practices through emerging technologies.

He has a strong interest in smart buildings, building automation, and digital transformation in the construction industry. His work investigates how innovative information technologies can enhance construction project delivery, improve operational efficiency, and support optimized building operations.

      Dr. Mohsen actively collaborates across disciplines, contributes to digital engineering initiatives, and participates in efforts to modernize construction practices through emerging technologies.
