Biography

Muhammad Asif is a Professor at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), a Certified Energy Manager (AEE, USA), Member of the International Association for Energy Economics, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). After completing his PhD in Applied Energy Engineering from Edinburgh, he held faculty positions in various European universities for over 15 years. He has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute of Global Studies (UK) and Boston University (USA). He sits on several international energy forums. His research interests include renewable energy, energy transition, energy conservation & management, sustainable buildings, and life cycle assessment. He has authored/edited eight books with publishers including Oxford University Press, Routledge/CRC Press, Elsevier and John Wiley, and over 150 research papers. His work has been cited in European policy documents and directives. He has supervised 10 PhD and over 50 Masters students and delivered teaching/training in Austria, Finland, Germany, Oman, Pakistan, Spain and Turkey.

Biography

Muhammad Asif is a Professor at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), a Certified Energy Manager (AEE, USA), Member of the International Association for Energy Economics, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). After completing his PhD in Applied Energy Engineering from Edinburgh, he held faculty positions in various European universities for over 15 years. He has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute of Global Studies (UK) and Boston University (USA). He sits on several international energy forums. His research interests include renewable energy, energy transition, energy conservation & management, sustainable buildings, and life cycle assessment. He has authored/edited eight books with publishers including Oxford University Press, Routledge/CRC Press, Elsevier and John Wiley, and over 150 research papers. His work has been cited in European policy documents and directives. He has supervised 10 PhD and over 50 Masters students and delivered teaching/training in Austria, Finland, Germany, Oman, Pakistan, Spain and Turkey.

Biography

Muhammad Asif is a Professor at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), a Certified Energy Manager (AEE, USA), Member of the International Association for Energy Economics, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). After completing his PhD in Applied Energy Engineering from Edinburgh, he held faculty positions in various European universities for over 15 years. He has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute of Global Studies (UK) and Boston University (USA). He sits on several international energy forums. His research interests include renewable energy, energy transition, energy conservation & management, sustainable buildings, and life cycle assessment. He has authored/edited eight books with publishers including Oxford University Press, Routledge/CRC Press, Elsevier and John Wiley, and over 150 research papers. His work has been cited in European policy documents and directives. He has supervised 10 PhD and over 50 Masters students and delivered teaching/training in Austria, Finland, Germany, Oman, Pakistan, Spain and Turkey.
