Biography

Abdullah Alsuhaibani is an Assistant Professor and the Acting Chairman of the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (AECM) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from KFUPM in 2016. Following graduation, he worked as an Inspection Engineer at Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery (SASREF) for nearly two years, where he gained practical experience in quality assurance and quality control of structural elements in an operational plant.

After joining KFUPM, Abdullah pursued graduate studies in the United States. He completed his Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Project Management (CEPM) at the University of Texas at Austin in 2021, and later earned his Ph.D. in the same field from UT Austin in 2024.

His research interests include Building Information Modeling (BIM), advanced visualization technologies in construction, MEP coordination, and rework reduction.

Biography
