Biography

Ibrahim Yahaya Wuni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Management at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Wuni specializes in modern methods of construction with an overarching goal to understand how process innovation, digitalization, and digital technologies can improve the productivity and sustainability of the construction industry.  Dr. Wuni is most known for his substantial research on modular integrated construction and circular construction. His current research focuses on developing optimized decision support systems and industry best practices for implementing integrated digital delivery, digital twin, 3d printing, blockchain, and artificial intelligence in construction. Dr. Wuni has experience consulting for the World Bank Group under the Africa Fellowship Program. He obtained his Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management with Distinction from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, M.Sc. in Water and Environmental Management with Distinction from Heriot-Watt University, and B.Sc. in Land Economy with First Class Honors from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
