Biography

Djamel Ouis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering, KFUPM. Prior to joining KFUPM he was conducting research and teaching at the university level in various subjects in Lund university and Malmö university college. Dr Ouis owns a PhD in Engineering Acoustics from the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden (1996) and a Techn. Lic. Diploma from the same Institute.. The fields of his research interests are architectural and building acoustics, noise control, and the implementation of vibro-acoustical techniques for the characterization of solid materials.
