Biography

Ahmed Ghaithan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Management at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Prior to joining KFUPM, Ghaithan was a lecturer at Tazi University in the Department of Industrial Engineering (2012). He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, in 2017. He received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hashemite University, Jordan, in 2007, and the MS.c degree in Industrial Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, in 2012. Dr. Ghaithan's research focuses on Energy Optimization, Data Analytics, Supply Chain and Logistics, Engineering Management, Waste Management, Optimization Methods, Manufacturing and Production Systems, Quality Management, Planning and Scheduling, and Sustainability Development. His work has appeared in ISI Journals such as Computer & Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Renewable Energy, Energy, etc.
