      Biography

Abdullah Alsuhaibani is a Lecturer at the Architectural Engineering and Construction Management Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2016 from KFUPM. Right after graduation, Abdullah worked as an Inspection Engineer at Saudi Aramco Shell Refinery (SASREF) for almost two years, where he gained practical experience in quality assurance and quality control of the structural elements in an operating plant.

After joining the department, he went to the United States to pursue a Master of Science in Engineering focused on Construction Engineering and Project Management (CEPM) from the University of Texas at Austin, which he completed in 2021. Currently, Abdullah is pursuing a Ph.D. in the same program at the University of Texas at Austin and is expected to graduate in 2024.

Abdullah’s research focuses on Building Information Modeling, advanced visualization technologies in construction, MEP coordination, and rework.
